Atlas Gentech WINS 2015 McLeans Island 6 Hour Blast Corporate Pro Section
Teams of Atlas Gentech took part in the annual 6 Hour Mountain Bike event held at McLeans Forest Park in Christchurch on October 17, 2015. This exciting mountain bike event is 6 hours of non-stop mountain biking action in a social atmosphere.
Atlas Gentech Team Milestone won the Pro Section with an average speed of 27.8kph. So quick in fact they came in 3rd out of the 398 teams entered in all categories. The winning margin was 2min 45sec over Christchurch Mitsubishi Road Racing Team with Arrow International in 3rd place.
The remaining 7 teams were entered into the Corporate Social Section.
- Brent Stokes Team came in 15th
- ECL Group came in 18th
- James Cairns Team came in 21st
- Allied Alarms 1 came in 169th
- Allied Alarms 2 came in 174th
- Allied Alarms 3 came in 34th in the mixed section
- Aaron Evers of University of Canterbury did 9 laps (94.95km) solo and came in 193rd
