Terms and Conditions of Training
Please be aware that the cancellation policy exists to ensure that neither Wesco Anixter nor our customers are adversely affected by unforeseen circumstance. Cancellation fees sought by Wesco Anixter exist to ensure maximum attendance as we are often required to deny attendance to other technicians due to classes being full. We understand that there are extenuating circumstances (ill health, family emergencies, bereavement, etc.) which can result in a student being unable to attend. In these instances, we can choose to make exceptions to this policy at our discretion. Student Cancellation PolicyNotification of withdrawal from a course must be done at least 10 working days before the course start date in order to obtain a full refund or transfer of date. If withdrawal is between 3 - 10 working days from the course start date the student will obtain a full refund minus an administration fee not exceeding 50% of the cost of the course. If transferring to a new date, the administration fee must be paid prior to the commencement of the rescheduled course. If withdrawal is within 2 working days of the course start date students will not be eligible for any refund or transfer of date. Students who fail to attend any part of the course may not be eligible for a refund or transfer of date Course Cancellation PolicyIn the event of a course being cancelled or postponed by more than four weeks, Wesco Anixter will refund all payments made by a student unless alternative arrangements that are acceptable to the student can be made. Refund PolicyAny refunds will be given within four weeks of the written notification from the student. Trainee GrievancesGrievances will be addressed promptly through a fair and equitable process. Grievances should be brought up with the course trainer. If the issue has not been resolved to the student's satisfaction, the student can raise the issue with the Training Co-Ordinator. Trainee Support ServicesTrainees experiencing any difficulty with a course will be offered immediate assistance. If a trainee feels they would like to discuss a problem, they should bring their concern to the course trainer. The trainer will assist the student but may refer to the Training Co-Ordinator for additional assistance. Training EquipmentWhen training equipment is loaned out by Wesco Anixter, it is the responsibility of the trainee to ensure that it is kept in a safe and secure location. The trainee will be responsible for any damages or missing parts of the equipment. If the equipment is received by the trainee, either damaged or has missing parts, they must contact the Wesco Anixter Training Co-Ordinator immediately. In the event the equipment is damaged or lost by the trainee, the cost to repair or to replace the equipment will be on charged to the trainee or company. Upon completion of a course where training equipment has been supplied by Wesco Anixter, it must be returned to the local Wesco Anixter branch within 5 working days of completing the course. Failure to do so will incur penalties. 1 – 3 Working days late -$100 4 – 7 Working days late -$200 7 or more working days late -$500 Receipt of your purchase order and/or confirmation of booking is taken as acknowledgment of your acceptance to our terms and conditions. If the training equipment is required for an extended period, this time must be submitted in writing to the Training Co-Ordinator for approval. The training equipment can not be held for more than 30 days by the trainee. |
