The concealed mounting makes it blend in with the wall. The compartment allows for secure storage of connectivity devices, microphone, and even AXIS I/O Indication LED, This compact mount is helpful to position the camera exactly where you need it, such as for installations above shop fronts with Axis retail analytics, such as people counting and face recognition.
