The ABLOY EL404 push and pull function lock case for narrow profile doors with double action bolt features an innovative adjustable back set technique. The lock has a double action bolt construction for durability and easy use. ABLOY EL404 can be controlled by a variety of control devices such as card reader, keypad or timer.
With the ABLOY EL404 door can be opened by pushing or pulling when electric control is switched on. The ABLOY EL404 can be configured to operate also as fail unlocked, then the door can be opened by pushing or pulling when the electric control is switched off. The lock can always be opened by key, by thumb turn or by push pad in EXIT doors.For higher security the lock deadlocks automatically when the door closes.
