Milestone Husky M50 is a 2U form factor, rack-mounted network video recorder. It is designed for high-performance video recording and includes a preloaded, NVR-optimized version of the XProtect® Professional video management software. The Husky M50 is ideal for installations that require live monitoring, and it includes a number of features that facilitate rapid incident response and coordination. With support for up to 128 cameras and a recording capacity of up to 64TB, the Milestone Husky M50 is a powerful, all-in-one surveillance system.
Interactive Maps - Know the location of every camera in your system with the interactive maps function, which provides an overview of all cameras, devices and layouts for the entire surveillance installation. Users can easily navigate to different cameras and views, both when monitoring the system live and when conducting investigations where they need to identify relevant camera angles.
Built-in analog support - The Husky M50 is also available as a hybrid option, which is an ideal solution if you already have analog cameras. The hybrid NVR comes with an integrated encoder that can handle video from both analog and IP cameras, so you don’t have to purchase external encoders. This reduces up-front costs and lets you migrate from analog to IP at your own pace.
RAID 5/10 option - Give your video data an extra level of protection and get maximum recording performance by choosing the Husky M50 with RAID 5 or 10 storage support. Choose between 16, 32, 48 and 64TB of storage.
Supports third-party integrations - With the Husky M50, you can integrate other business applications with the built-in video management software and control several internal systems from one single place. For example, use XProtect Access to integrate your access control system directly into the VMS and control both systems from one interface. You can manage cardholder information, verify the identities of people requesting access and conduct more thorough investigations, all by combining video with access control.
Easy to scale - When you want to scale your surveillance solution, and expand it over multiple buildings within a single site, the Milestone Husky M50 makes it easy. You can connect multiple Milestone Husky M20s, M30s and M50s and manage these from a central location. This lets you choose the Husky unit that meets the surveillance needs of each building on your site, connect them to a central hub and manage all of the buildings from one place. Operators get a complete overview of the entire system and can easily monitor activities and quickly respond to any potential situations.
Free Mobile app - Milestone Mobile, one of the most downloaded security apps in the industry, lets you keep patrolling guards and first responders informed about ongoing security situations. Guards can receive alerts on their mobile phones while they’re on patrol, enabling them to respond to incidents quickly. Control room operators can also forward alarms and corresponding video to first responders, so they can make informed decisions regarding incident response.
