Use the backplate to install the 2N® IP Solo intercom on an uneven surface. It’ll make your work easier. It is also necessary for surface installation on a 2-gang backbox. The plate is only suitable for surface-mounted intercom versions (01301-001, 01302-001, 02203-001, 02202-001).
